I don't seem to find any use for the sail I made for my Joe 17 trailer sailer (conversion discussion here).

I made the sail last winter and used it for testing only 5 or 6 times. The sail worked so well that I will make my next one with the same system (for my new boat, Galion 22).

The sail is Arne's Johanna type, with AR of 2.10-2.15 and sail area of about 15m2. Batten length is about 300cm.

    I haven't measured the camber, but I think it's somewhere around 9%.

Joe 17 weighs 500 kg, so the sail was made using a quite light fabric. The six lower, red panels are made of 90 g/m2 ripstop polyester and the top, yellow panel from 190 g/m2 polyester (Swela Outguard).

The sail has separate panels, using hinges made of polyester webbing.

The sail can be seen in action here.

I think I paid around 250 eur for the materials.

I think the sail could work nicely on other smaller boats, as a whole or with 1 or 2 panels taken off to reduce the sail area to 13 or 11 m2 (yes, this can be done thanks to the separate panels).

If you are interested in the sail and have an idea of what you think would be a fair price, drop me a line at jampuliini at gmail dot com.

I think it might be reasonable to send it abroad - but of course without the yard/battens :)
