    hm…
for some reasons i cannot find my li'l boat… :(

[Webmaster edit: Georg, that link doesn't work. The link you inserted was http://www.junkrigassociation.org/mimpi
and there is no such page on our site.

The correct link should have been:
    http://junk-rig.jimdo.com/

Regret I do not know why Google has not yet found at least one image of Mimpi. I am sure it will get round to it one day!]

If it looks like the 22 then this definitely isn't one. Was once a nice boat though - shame, it looks beyond redemption now.
    Yes, quite right: Westerly 22.

Shame about the little boat: I keep hoping there will be a rebirth of interest in small boat sailing.  Cheaper and more fun than big boats

I've today updated the junk mosaic on the Home Page. Click the image to see if Google now knows your boat...

Annie, do you have any idea what happened to Missee Lee? Just wondered because Peter Scandling and I saw a plywood 20-footer in Huggins Yard, Torpoint, which had sunk on its Tamar mooring. It's in a pretty sorry state, and Peter thought it might be a Westcoaster - I wasn't sure - if it is it's a lot beamier compared to length than the later Westerly boats (e.g. 22/Nomad, 25/Windrush).
Chris, last time I saw Missee Lee was in Newtown Creek.  The mast was about to give problems - they'd not maintained the varnish, so the epoxy was starting to degrade - but apart from that she looked in very good shape and much loved.  Now that was in 2013 and a lot can happen in 10 years, but I feel the boat you saw was not a Westcoaster: they look almost identical to the Westerly 21.  There is a photograph of one 'squatting happily on the mud' in Eric Hiscock's Cruising Under Sail.

Considering that he used to be a computer programmer, I'm not sure that 'can't' shouldn't be spelt 'won't'!!!

I spot several blue sails from Stavanger when I do that Google exercise. However, I can't see Edmond Dantes and and Frøken Sørensen.

I bet it will take a while until FS reaches the same hit score on the web as Johanna. I sold Johanna yesterday, but hopefully she will stay active and visible with her new owner.

Badger, China Moon and Fantail are all there - the only one missing is my little Missee Lee who was pre-Internet and has, sadly, been turned back in Bm rig.

The people to ask are probably the current owners of Badger
Nope. She doesn't get out of home waters these days.
