The people to ask are probably the current owners of Badger

'The Badger Abides' is nothing to do with me.  I'm not sure that she has been back to Porto Santo since her last visit in (about) 1992.

"Ivory Gull" is on the second row of the first page, which is nice to see. Even if she's being driven by her previous owner.

He's there again on the second page near to my previous boat "China Girl", with me driving this time.

Googling images for "Ivory Gull" produces many pictures of white birds - ivory gulls unsurprisingly. And Googling for "China Girl" ... well ... 'nuff said.

Looking into where that image was posted, I see that it was linked to Charlotte Watters' blog: http://starboardlocker.wordpress.com/
I see that she and Dan are now off for an open ended voyage on Hestur. Good for them. Charlotte is an artist, and all her artist's kit is kept in the starboard locker, hence the name of her site. It will be worth keeping an eye on.
While holidaying in Madeira over Christmas, Maddy and I came across a couple of wall paintings in Porto Santo Marina. Wonder if this one is Annie's Badger? She's not around to ask at the moment.

The other one was Hestur. As a result of following the link  in Gary's post (above) I just discovered that she and her crew have now arrived in Barbados! So that's Grand Pha and Hestur safely across...Too late for mag 64, but a sure news story for issue 65. We send them both our congratulations.

Much better response to the above junk search than to a Freedom one. Considering Fs were head to head with Robin's junks in the 80s, it's clear which rig is catching the wind.

I had to include "Sea Elf" in the search to find mine.  The best part (besides seeing my boat :) was when I scrolled down a bit I located a few volunteers!

    Paradox is there.

We could give a reference no. so people can spot our boats, eg page 3 picture 7. Does anyone know how often Google Images search results are updated? 24/7?
