Incredible, why?
Because this part of the forum's last entry is from 2016 (thanks to to Annie Hill).
So I wonder, if someone up there "listens" to this channel, or if the website provides a notification to whoever up there is in charge of this wonderful community website.
I will know, if I find an answer to this message!
Apart from that, here is the point I wanted to stress:
Each time I restart my computer, when I log-in in the JRA website, I have to go through that "captcha" exam, which is so curiously designed that I sometimes go through 12 different images propositions, before I can be accepted.
Exemple:
Please tick all the images showing a bicycle.
And here is a picture of a guy on a bicycle, divided in squares. There may be a tiny little bit of a brake lever in the corner of a square, or a bit of the shadow of the rear tyre at the edge of another square. Do I tick them or not? And is the rider part of the requested answer?
There are alternatives to this captcha method. As a former website engineer, I remember our favorite: one or several hidden input fields in the submission form, labeled with significant names such as "post_code" or "country"or whatever. Humans don't see them so don't populate them, but robots won't make a difference and will do. Easy then to make the difference between humans and robots (although I have nothing against robots, I have seberal friendly ones in my kitchen).
Of course this is probably not 100% robot-proof, but that's not worse than the cactual method.
Well, that was all!
Fair winds to all of you.
