It might be well worthwhile approaching John himself. He is very pro junk rig and I am sure would encourage you with your ideas.

It all looks sensible to me. The placement of the CE in the same place it it would be for a cutter rig is right, if there is camber in the panels, but a long keel design like this is fairly uncritical in placement of the rig.
