Many thanks for giving us such a detailed desrciption of your mast and its building.  Quite complex procedure, I think I followed it all.

There is quite a weight in the finished mast. (but then it is quite a big boat).  I did wonder how this compared to the other similar catamaran with the aluminium masts?  They give a very good description in their web-site.  Although they had to be strengthened, the buildign was somewhat simpler. question is was how did it compare on weight and cost.
