    My apologies.

Peter started this thread 3 times, and in merging them and deleting the unnecessary repetition, I managed to delete the whole thread.

This involved some interchange between David and I about cable ties, and some between David and Arne about continuous lashings through a single row of eyelets.

    Mea Culpa!

    Ladies and Gents

    I need some advice.

I purchased a set of junk sails sometime ago  and put them in storage, when I went to get them I found that they did not have batten pockets but a single row of eyelets across the sail

Now I need to fasten the sail to aluminum tube battens.

Now I can lay another plastic pipe the other side but it looks like a plumbers convention

So I am looking for an alternative or something neater than pipe

Has anyone got any thoughts on this
