    Hello Christian,

I've not myself done a conversion, but I do sail 'Chinee', a Kingfisher 20 (not a 20+) which was converted in the 1990's. She is on the Exe. If you would like to see her, and have a sail on her, let me know. If you are interested, let me know by message here and we can arrange something.

(I must update the picture with a photo of her lovely new sail!)

    Regards,

    Chris

There's plenty of information here on the site that you can use.  You  might start with Arne's files ( see left junk information/public domain/arne....)  and also David Tyler's recent conversion of Weaverbird.   You can get a lot of information by watching Roger Taylor's videos on YouTube of the MingMing 2 conversion.   Of course a copy of PJR will also help.

Have you joined the Kingfisher Owners Assoc.?

I know there's a K20+JR on the Tamar but I'm afraid I have no idea who owns it.  You could try searching the members directory.....

    Best of luck

    Peter

    hello everyone

i am in the process of converting a kingfisher 20+ to junkrig and was thinking about how to strengthen the deck where the mast comes though and how to strengthen the step.

If anyone has done a conversion or has one from new, I would love to hear how it's done. Also, if anyone owns one and happens to live in south west England, I would love to have look

    many thanks :)
