That sounds like an interesting project.  I don't use Google+, so couldn't actually see anything on Paul's blog.  With luck he'll make an album in his profile so that we can see what he's up to!

    Dear All

I was thrilled to receive this from.Paul Bournhonesque – our new member from Seul!

JRA is spreading further its junk rig wings in Asia. Hurrah....

“I am  building the boat right now.   It’s a 4.7 meter pocket cruiser style boat, with a junk rig.  This project is all the more challenging because I am also the designer which is probably not the safest route but it suits my personality.  At any rate, the hull is basically done except for the cabin top and hatches, which is not small thing.  After that I will be making the rigging, which is why I joined the JRA.

I researched many options and decided on a junk rig yawl, even though I don’t have any experience with one.  I think the simple use while under way and the ease of reefing are both impossible to beat for my little cruiser, and how I plan to use it.  The main is about 11sq meters.

If you have any suggestions based on my project, please discuss it here or let Paul know.  I would be grateful and could use all the help I can get. “

I look forward to follow your discussion.

    Thanks so much!

    MemSec and Paul
