I just tried downloading a Magazine from the archives and it was blocked.  instead I was invited to register with app.box..?  Is it not allowed to download archived copies of the magazine?  If it is allowed, is it necessary to register with "box"?

Yeah, the register box is confusing but you should not have to register to down load. It does sometimes take some time sometimes for things to load or download. Normally it first opens a display of the document if you download or not.

    Bonjour

"Practical junk rig" is available in the JRA library (numerical).

Marvellous - the book appears to still be readily available!  Thank you!

hy i would add that "practical junk rig" uses the boat pilmer, kingfisher 20+ as an example of a full rigging warrant for a boat, if you can get hold of a copy

Wow!  Thank you Kevin.  I did not know that such a treasure trove was there.  Will start digging.

    Cheers,

    Hi Graham

first, suggest you enter the word “kingfisher” into the junk rig Knowledgebase at http://kb.graymatic.com/index.php

this will list a bunch of articles about kingfisher boats including sail plans and rigging plans, I think.

if you can’t find the sail plans specifically for the 20+, email me:  I think I know someone who might have a copy.

But, that’s not the same as a plan for how to do a conversion, and maybe some of the forum readers can help with that.  There were quite a few conversion articles in the magazines in the past.  Again, just enter the word “conversion” into the Knowledgebase to get those.  (There are 1,100 + items indexed in the Knowledgebase at this stage.

Finally, you could always email those members who have Kingfisher 20s if there are specific questions, but always good to start on the forums so we can all share in the info

Am not sure whether such things exist but since there seem to be a number of JR Kingfisher 20s either factory or converted, I wondered if anyone has any close to "stock plans" for such a conversion.  Thanks, Graham/
