I read the recipe to make a yuloh but it doesn't fit my boat (Shark 24) http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=44.
I am wondering which dimensions are more important.
I can raise the fulcrum to a certain extent. I can vary the length of the blade or the proportions of the yuloh. I also have to work with the few positions I can take: standing on the after deck, on the cockpit bench or on the cockpit sole. I can also change the 45° angle. Only one thing is pretty clear, the transom's edge is too low and I will need to make a long pin (between 10 and 15" above it) to raise the fulcrum.
