I will be giving a talk at the Metal Boat Festival in Anacortes, WA on the topic "Sailing Junk Rigged Sailboats:  25,000 Miles with Battens, Balance and Rust."  JRA members are welcome to attend and/or bring their junk-rigged boats to Anacortes, especially if they are constructed of aluminum or steel.  If I learn of your attendance sufficiently in advance, I can turn my presentation into a panel presentation.  And if more than one junk is present, we can also call it a JRA Junket!  Other presenters at the Metal Boat Festival will be talking about building, maintaining, and cruising on aluminum and steel boats.  More information is available at https://metalboatsociety.wildapricot.org/Festival-2019
