Hi,

My name is Øystein, and I can tell that I am the new proud owner of Gecko here in Norway. I have been looking for a Benford Dory with junk rig for many years, and have now found my boatdream. I really look forward to take care of and enjoy sailing this beautie of a boat.

I have never sailed a junk rigged sailboat before, so I am new in to that. But I have some sailing experience from my previous sailboats I have owned and lived onboard. Leisure 22, Maxi 95 and Bavaria 32.

Welcome, indeed.  I have always admired this boat and had she been available 5 years ago, I might well have gone against all my principles and flown to Norway to buy her.  I would have saved myself 5 years of hard labour, too!  I hope you have lots of good times with her and that you can get her up and running before winter sets in.
