Interesting to see the photo's on Glen Maxwell's site especially of Tao Zou (formerly Lanamente) before and after the Azores Challenge.  If it hadn't been for Robin Blain Lanamente would probably have been stripped of her gear and scuttled. Regards to Glen.

she's back on the market – and still growing in her price:

    2018:   $   8 000.-

    2020:   £  23 000.- (new rig and general refit)

    2022:   £  39 995.-

    next time 100 000.- ?

The Swap, Sell or Buy forum is a public forum and I think we ought to be a little careful about using it for making casual and uncalled-for remarks about people's boat-for-sale prices - (pretty close to trolling if it is just intended for entertainment. Its a somewhat different matter if someone is seeking advice).

Here's a good suggestion which was made the other day - perhaps it would be better to post comments-from-the-sideline on the "Yacht Club Bar" forum which is away from the public and accessible only by members.

Otherwise the value of the "Swap, Sell or Buy" forum will be diminished and people might become reluctant to use it.

The JRA is a community where we can advise each other on all aspects of junk rig ownership. In this case a junk rig boat has turned up for sale on another site at twice the price it was sold for two years ago having had no work done to it since. I think it’s important that potential buyers in our JR community are aware of this, to repost the add on swap sell buy without mentioning this “fast buck” attempt would be doing our community a disservice.

Maybe new engine? That or they barely used the engine as the hours are super low.  Pete did a really nice job converting her was really tempted last time it was up for sale.  Although I don't get his love for the Yellow masts and red sails :-).  That said I do like the sales graph lol does look like a bitcoin moonboy prediction haha.  I wouldn't say it's overpriced I thought Pete underpriced her a bit IMO.  But I know Junks especially the pricey ones can be really slow to move if not priced aggressively.
