Our beautiful Mango Moon will shortly be for sale. At the moment, life aboard is quite chaotic (read messy, and she does need to look her best in public view), as we have been liveaboards for 6 years, and now, due to health reasons, are about to become land junkies. Mango is a 13.3 metre steel twin keeler, carries Australian and Queensland registration, was originally created as a wishbone rig, which was converted to junk rig over the past few years. In mid 2016, she spent 7 weeks on the hard in Mooloolaba, mizzen out, deck blasted and painted, hull above waterline sanded and painted. As would be expected, the junk rig has suited her very well indeed. She was surveyed at the time by Norman Wright of Wrightboats Mooloolaba, and he describes her in very good condition. We have upgraded and added over the years, at her bow, a new Sarca XL anchor resting on the upgraded 3 roller fitting, attached to 97 metres of 10mm chain. At the stern, an almost new rotationally moulded 3 metre dinghy with 6hp evinrude 4 stroke outboard. Lots more between those two ends. We have worked hard, invested far more than our asking price of $89000, and we want her to go to the right people. Over the next few days, I will compile an inventory and more detailed description. Hi Neville and Liz.  Arion is in Tin Can Bay and I expect to cross Wide Bay Bar and head to Mooloolaba tomorrow, Thursday 2nd November.  Look forward to seeing you there!  I am planning to stay in the marina for a while.  Good luck with selling your lovely ship.
