As we are planning to leave the UK and my poor health has limited our sailing we are reluctantly selling Bobtail, our 1979 24ft Colvic Watson (bilge keel) which was converted to a junk rig in 2011… see my blog http://junkrigbobtail.blogspot.co.uk/

In 2013 I fitted an electric hoist to simplify raising the sail and a few minor sailing modifications.

In 2014, after the old engine packed up, I replaced it with a Beta 25 (including a new prop) which cost over £6000…, which, due to my subsequent health problems, has been virtually unused (only 26 hours!) …

In 2014 I also fitted a new Garmin EchoMap 50 chart plotter and redesigned the sailbag/lazyjack configuration.
