It is with the utmost regret that I am putting my much loved boat, La Chica on the market. I built her and have owned her for 26 joyous years. She is fairly well known to many of our JRA members and a familiar sight her in New Zealand. The boat is fully equipped and is ready to go offshore, all you need to do is provision.

Looking for offers around NZ$80 000.00. Should I get my price all equipment will go with her. Otherwise it will be subject to negotiation.

I am willing to consider delivering La Chica to any destination should a non New Zealand  based buyer be interested.

I am now doing increasingly more coastal sailing and La Chica is an offshore boat that just wants to go offshore. My coastal sailing needs shallow draft and ideally a bit more space as I live on board and work from the boat. So there is a new project coming up.
