Hello. Anyone wishing to sell a Kingfisher 20+ or 22 in the UK please send me an email at

     allancrossley@hotmail.co.uk

I do not want a big project and prefer ready to sail. Long ownership would be nice. New to junk rig so advice on buying these craft would be very we,come. I have just joined the JRA and this is my

first entry. North Wales is going to be my sail area but I am obviously willing to travel to find a boat.

I hope that I haven't broken any site protocols with this request but no doubt someone will put me straight.

    Hi Allan, and welcome aboard.

You've posted in exactly the right place and I hope you will get a response.  I can make two further suggestions that might help you in your quest.

Why don't you troll through the JRA Members' Directory and look for all the Kingfishers listed.  Drop the owner a line and ask if the boat might be for sale.  If nothing else, you might end up with the offer to go out for a sail!  Secondly, there will be other boats of the same size with JR possibly for sale - you could ask the owners of these boats, too.

In the meantime, you can do the advanced search on the membership to find those people who have offered to give demo sails and maybe get the chance to try out a junk-rigged boat for yourself, without having to travel too far.

I wish you the best of luck.

    Annie
