Hi to you and all members,

I'm new to this forum, so I may not know exactly how things woerk.
My question is: why can't we see pictures of the boats on sale in this topic?

It would be very useful, since I'm currently looking for a junk rigged boat to acquire.

Thanks anyway for this great site!

    Patrick

    Hello Patrick,

This isn't primarily a boat sales website, but we do have this forum where members can advertise anything they have for sale. It's up to them how much they say about their boat, but clearly, it is to their advantage to post a link to a photo album. This may be here, or in another place such as social media. We may also bring other boats to our members' attention, if we see something on eBay, or Apollo Duck, for example.

This is also the place where you, as someone who is hoping to buy a junk rigged boat, can list your requirements. What size and type are you looking for? What accommodation?

I see that there is a junk rigged Newbridge Navigator for sale on eBay in Cheshire, UK right now, at only £1000 starting bid and no offers within 2 hours of the auction finish. Is this the same one as was mentioned here? Is anyone looking for a bargain?

The Newbridge Navigator in Cheshire didn't sell, and has been re-listed. It looks as though it needs a new sail, but otherwise might be worth viewing.

Thank you David for your reply.
We are looking for a junk-rigged boat in the 30 feet range more or less (we currently sail a 22 feet, and would like something roomier with better accomodation).
A decent toilet is mandatory, shower would be a plus.
We'd rather have not too much work to do on our next buy. I do not have the time nor the equipment.
And it would have to be either in Europe, or on the eastern coast of USA or Canada, or in the Carribean islands since our goal is to settle in the West Indies (Martinique).
    Our budget won't excess 15000€.

    Now you know everything!
    Best regards,

    Patrick
