Hi Chris, thanks for linking to my ad. I just got my membership approved and can post here.

Yes, this is Dave's old boat. I've had it for about 6 months now. I just brought my other boat back from Mexico so have decided that I don't need 2 boats here.

    Below is my posted ad:

This is Dave Chamberlin's old boat "Pelican" and is located in Alameda, Ca. It's a professionally built fiberglass sistership to Teleport which has spent the last 5 years cruising Alaska. It was designed by Blondie Hasler and Angus Primrose as their version of the ultimate junk rigged cruising boat for 2.

It needs a lot of work so would be best for someone with the time and energy to do it justice. I have another boat that takes my time now so have decided to sell.

It's been sitting for quite a few years without regular hull cleaning so needs a haulout. The rig and sails are in usable condition. The exterior is okay but needs the new hand rails (Included) installed.

The interior needs a lot as part of the Port setee was removed to install a stove. This was not completed so may be built out as desired. I was planning on installing a sink and cabinet similar to Teleport. It will also need electrical and paint.

The Volvo diesel turns over but the exhaust manifold and fuel injection lines are removed. I have them and gaskets for the install.

It includes the original swinging seat, hatch dodgers, and plexiglass hatch dome. It also has a self steering vane, JRC radar and electric windlass.

It's located in a great place for doing boat repairs with 2 boatyards, a good chandlery (Svendsens) and a marine consignment store within walking distance.

I'll try to ad photos later if I can figure out how.
