    Ben

It would be helpful if you specified wall thickness and diameter.

8" base tapered to 4" top, 3/16" or .188 wall thickness.

The top edge of an electrical access hole is up 18" from the bottom of the tube. The top is free of holes.

Any chance of shipping to Finland? For that price I'd be glad to pay a bit extra for shipping and handling.

I would do what I can to help but you would have to arrange a shipper or freight company. I live in NYC not far from many ships and commercial ports. I have someone that can move the mast locally on a commercial trailer for a couple hundred bucks. If that helps any.

That sounds great! I'd get both poles in that case. I'll see if I can get the freight arranged.

edit: Just tested www.freight-calculator.com and according to them shipping to Kotka, Finland (~50 km from my home port) would be ~$400 for the two poles, which sounds reasonable. I'll do some more studies today evening after I get off work.

What about the general condition of the poles? Where have they been used? How old are they? And apparently max length for shipping is 39' so they'd have to be cut a bit (off the base), could you do that?

I can cut down the poles. The poles were purchased from the highway department in a surplus auction. They are not dented or damaged. They are straight and true. I was told they were replaced due to a design change on an off ramp. I will have to see if there is a manufacture date on the poles. I will also take a few pics and try to post them.

The manufacture date is 07-92. There are light surface scratches from handling.I took some pics, I am trying to upload.
