SOLD - for a great price (and so many extras) to a oung woman who intends cycling and sailing around the world. Sui remains in Cardiff Bay whilst she teaches herself sailing.

For Sale - reduced: I see something I like, so quick sale - £6000

Kingfisher 26 junk rig, twin keel, skeg hung rudder (with wings), homemade windvane, volvo penta md6a with two-blade prop

    £6000

    Ready to sail

Kingfisher 26 (circa. early 1970s), converted to junk rig. Carbon fibre mast, cambered 385 sq ft blue Odyssy III sail, aluminium battons, Antifouled and updated.
Two burner paraffin stove, with almost new Taylors 2-burner stove, tank, gauge as spare (I was going to install it, but the older one just kept working, as they do). Paraffin heater, full size chart table + chart storage, AIS, GPS (needs new external aerial), echo sounder, 25 litre plus 25 spare diesel, 70 litres paraffin, 100 litre freshwater plus spare liner, freshwater and seawater pumps, delta main with 30ft line and 100 ft chain (great holding), bower with 30ft chain, plus spare large fisherman and danforth, 'banana' boat tender (with sailing rig, oars), excellent electric Torqeedo 801 o/b, warps/lines/fenders, power tools, hand tools, spares for everything (many times over, including complete spare halyard, spare sheeting system), new (2012) Simrod TP10 autopilot, spare fuel/oil filters, flare pack, teak for new cockpit floor, runners. Cockpit reduced with aft storage. She's an old design, and has the usual knocks for her age, but rock solid.

This is a great little yacht - weatherly, strong, safe, well balanced, and fast. Has been across the pond, and many adventures on the Bristol Channel. 2012 six-week cruise to SW Ireland, performed magnificently. Regularly keeps up with larger yachts, very easy to single-hand, safe to reef, and cheap.

Selling for one reason only - space. We intend living aboard for some time, and she can't take all our 'stuff' (read: *her* stuff!) - we're off for a long spin, somewhere. Otherwise, I'd keep Sui for a long time - she's just so much fun, makes sailing a joy

Sailing out of Cardiff Bay, and she's ready to go! £6000 will be useful towards my next, larger, junk rig (why sail anything else!)

    Pics on Photos section
    cheers
