Nereid is a 36 ft Junkrig Schooner, custom built 2000-2012 in Helsinki from a MAESTRO 35 GRP HULL produced in 1982. Hollow wooden masts. The builder was an airline service technician who, before building Nereid, also built his own sail plane and house. Nereid is a very well-built boat.

First time launched in april 2012 and sailed around Europe to Marmaris, Turkey. Since then, only sailed in the Aegean and only by the current owners (daughter of the builder and her husband). Since June 2023 Nereid is based in Leros island, Greece.

Well equipped, easy to sail and in very good condition. NEW SAILS & SPRAYHOOD 2023. Lots of equipment has been replaced and many things have been improved during the years (for example replacing all halogen bulbs with LED:s and adding more solar panels).

New service batteries (3x 100Ah) installed February 2025.

Large bed in front cabin sleeps 2, large salon with foldable sofa-bed, large bed i aft cabin. In total 6 can sleep but for best comfort, maximum 4 (depending of size).

Galley with propane stove, built-in box type fridge. Spacey toilet with full size "head". Lots of storage space everywhere.

Solar power system (300W) and 600W DC/AC power inverter.

ENGINE: Volvo Penta MD2020 (19 HP), purchased new 2000, approximately 1000 hours.

ASKING only 25.000 EUR for this very well.built boat with beutiful wooden interior.

New sails, manufactured in April 2023 by UK Sails in Marmaris and new sprayhood (Blue) manufactured in September 2023 in Leros.

She can be seen in Leros upon request. Owner is in Leros during february 2025.
