Posting on behalf of member Tony Base:

Due to a serious health issues, Oryx is reluctantly now for sale. Here are the key details:

    - Bernd Kohler KD860 ocean going catamaran.

    - Built by Pete Hill to offshore standards and launched in 2012.

    - Volvo 30hp in starboard hull. Professionally serviced and in good running condition. Sail drive has been rebuilt.

    - Near new 9.9hp high-thrust Yamaha with power tilt, electric start and all new control cables on port transom.

    - Brand new offshore cruising sails and battens made by junk sailmaker Paul Thompson. Still in the bag and never used. (They will be bent on after offer accepted.)

    - 2 double berths. 1 single berth.

    - Head with holding tank in front of diesel in starboard hull.

    - Origo 3000 alcohol stove.

    - 12v fridge.

    - Radar (not connected), GPS, tiller pilot, VHF, windvane self-steering, diesel heater.

    - 2 new 150w solar panels and new 30a solar controller.

    - Diesel, outboard and anchor winch all have own batteries. (Needs new house battery.)

    - Bottom anti fouled in 2022.

    - Decks and cockpit repainted 2023.

Oryx is a great boat and has done approximately 55000nm. Insurance survey could find no fault with her construction.

Oryx is SSR registered with the original number she carried when she sailed from Great Britain. If you can supply a proper address in UK, you can register her under your name upon submitting a bill of sale from me. This lasts 5 yrs.

She’s seriously for sale at $75,000.00 ONO.

Also have brand new - never used - 3m Highfield RIB dinghy with 2.5 4-stroke Suzuki outboard for $3000.00
