After 2,5 years of sailing Chu-Fa I sadly have to admit that I am not the right skipper for this wonderful, sturdy and compact cruiser. I want to continue sailing, but not own a boat myself right now. We always felt save sailing her and were amazed about the windward sailing ability.
We optimized some things, f.e. it now has a composting toilet (although the sea toilet could be re-installed with very little effort). The boat is of the hard on the island of Fehmarn.
LOA 8,22m beam 2,38m draft 1,4m. Laurent Giles design constructed in epoxy covered wood, chambered sail by Tuchwerkstadt (Sebastian Hentschel), aluminum mast in tabernacle, teak deck, mahogany interior, outboard engine 15PS (linked to the rudder) with electric starter and remote control (complete service in Sept), LED lights, big compressor cooler, GPS, radio, echo sounder, 2 anchors (one with chain and manual winch). The 2 single berths can be joint to one double bed, headroom 1,88m, lots of storage and capable of long term cruising. It was launched in 2016 and is build from only the best material (building costs of estimated 100.000€). We reduced the asking price to 35.000 EUR, for JRA members we are open for offers.
