This is just a post to bring the topic to the top of the list on this section of the forum as it pertains to the boat of the month.

A week to go, then Tystie will be replaced with a new Boat of the Month featured on the JRA website homepage.

Tystie has a great history and has been the subject of a number of technical and cruising articles, mostly arising from her original owner, the illustrious David T.

I had intended to search back through the magazine for more information and to provide the links, but ran out of time.

Just now I had a brainwave: why not make use of the "JRA Knowledge Database" - the new facility developed by our very own James Gray. Brilliant. I presume this is a temporary link: click here and be amazed!

Just enter "Tystie" and there are the links to all the articles and everything you wanted to know about the remarkable history of this boat.

    Thanks James.

Tystie's price has been reduced to NZ$55,000.

The southern summer offers a great chance to get to know the boat in beautiful New Zealand before setting sail up to the South Pacific and beyond.

Tystie is still for sale. The Southern summer is approaching, and it would be great to see her back out gracing the waters with new hands on the tiller.
