Batwing is located in Guaymas, Mexico. Contact Ron Schmidt and Diane Binder

Details and more pictures to come upon inquiry We sailed Batwing since 2002, very basic , easy to maintain.

Yanmar 3jh2e Diesel engine 6 k hours with 4K or more left. Maintence logs will show frequent regular oil changes. And other tasks

Autopilot 4000( because of covid we haven’t been on her since the spring of 2002 so I forget the model)

Auto and manual bilge pump( rule)

    Hand held gps

    Mexico charts

Montgomery 7’11” with sail rig, oats

Knockoff Bruce anchor and approx 300’ chain 505

    Two solar panels, batteries.

You supply chart plotter, we sailed from

Canada to Ecuador and back to Mexico with paper charts and gps

    Furuno radar

Depth sounder fish finder and backup.

Refrigeration could be added but we sailed like the Pardys

Nice master stateroom with full-size mattress plus quarter berth

I always loved the galley- so efficient to work in.

Pilot house was a bonus- table and benches

Inside steering which we never used so hydraulic would need maintenance

Interior built by previous two owners

The second owner( we are the third and have owned her the longest- 20years)

    Circumnavigated

African queen over cockpit built by us, eliminated deck leaks from old rails

We fortified partners Douglas fir masts.

Sails sewn in Panama from sunbrella bamboo battens acquired there also

Once we are in Guaymas and find batwing thru the dust, we will take pictures and show it and possible register with broker in San Carlos

At this 18k US$ obo price the well traveled (including a circumnavigation) Batwing is an attractive prospect imo.

Here are a two more pictures of her underway from more flattering angles and one on the hard that I have on file.
(I believe these are from before she was given new sails.)
