My junk-rigged 21 foot bilge-keel Corribee "Chesapeake" for sale

In yard at Greenwich Yacht Club, London

    £600 or open to offers

Best photo of condition is from sailing last weekend on the GYC twitter: https://twitter.com/GreenwichYC/status/1447494706036936707/photo/1

If interested and wish to talk pros and cons with no pressure, email alexodell@hotmail.com

One of the few factory-built junk-rigged Corribees by Newbridge Ltd.

    Beam: 7ft approx
    Draught: 2ft 2in

9kg anchor, chain and nylon warp
    New 2020 mooring lines
    New 2020 mainsheet and halyard
    New 2020 outboard bracket
    4 x fenders
    Dinghy and oars
    Leisure battery
    Horseshoe buoy and boathook
    Interior cushions

    No engine or trailer

Note this boat was Mandarin Wind. She has been passed recently from owner to owner. I bought her from GYC after she was abandoned. She used to be in excellent condition and I have loved sailing her and did so very recently, but there is also work to do (new rubbing strake, some woodwork repair at hatch, sail is now patched etc).

The 2012 advert for the same boat when it was in better condition as "Mandarin Wind" is right at the bottom of this webpage from the Corribee Association:

Wow I really hope somebody picks up this little darling and brings her back to the beauty she once was.

Add a new cambered sail and she'll be a flyer too.

Here is one of the pictures from the 2012 Corribee Association listing.

I'm probably not the only one to jump to the conclusion that this must be a Coromandel, but it's not, apparently Newbridge equipped a few Corribees with a junk rig. But it does mean a lot less space below.
