Gypsy Rose is for sale

Gypsy Rose is a 25 foot long, drop keel, trailer sailer. She has a single cambered junk sail on a tabernacle mast. The mast is aluminium with a carbon fiber topmast section and yard. The battens and boom are wood.

She has a 1994 Yamaha 8 horsepower engine that has low hours of usage and runs very well.

She has a double axle, braked trailer that has WOF and Reg until late December.

She sails very well and was second overall in the junk fleet at the Tall Ships two years ago, surprising many junkies and quite a few pointy rigs with her speed. She is getting a bit much for me to trail and rig so I have decided to sell her and concentrate on finishing my other boat and getting her in the water. I am asking NZ $11,000.00 for her and would like to see her go to a JRA member who will use her more than I have been able to lately. Pictures can be seen in my profile picture albums.

She is still for sale, despite a lot of interest on Trademe and a couple of viewings. I need to get her sold so that I can finish my other boat. All offers considered.

I'm sorry you haven't managed to find a new owner, David.  Let's hope that someone comes along soon.

When are you starting a new thread for your latest project?

Gypsy Rose is still for sale, the trailer will need a WOF and Reg but is still good to go. She came fourth over the line and third on corrected time in the Junk Rig class at the recent Tall Ships Race in Bay of Islands.

She will be going back on Trademe but my preference would be for her to go to a JRA member.

It might help if you had pictures and a price
