Aims:
1 To trawl the site for articles, diagrams, photos and posts that provide information not in the latest edition of Hasler/McLeod's
Practical Junk Rig (scroll down to the bottom of the page that appears from that link).
2 To convert that information into content for publication as an appendix to PJR.
Skills
Methodical research. Download and process. Upload to the existing work area of the site so that it can be accessed by others. Monitor content as it arrives so we have a global approach. Edit to a consistent style. Arrange publication via Committee.
Background
This project started in 2012 but seems to have ground to a halt. Several members were interested in contributing to this and had Admin access to the dedicated filing area, which is organised in 'chapters' matching those of PJR. Some content was identified and filed by David Tyler and others. The project is perhaps best suited to a team approach, with a team leader/coordinator.
It's rebirth may mean that the separate
Ask the Junkmaster project could be dropped.
