    Thank you Linda, I have always wanted to read your book but as it was only available from Amazon in the Kindle DRM'd format I never could buy it. Now I can finally read it.

    I read the paper copy of Cutting the Dragon's Tail from the JRA library earlier this year and was enthralled.  A wonderful tale and beautifully written.  jds

    I've just heard from Lynda and David Chidell as follows:

    "I thought I ought to get around to doing what I've been promising myself I would do for ages.    That is to send you a PDF copy of our book Cutting the Dragon's Tail for the JRA Library.   The PDF version has been updated slightly as I was formatting it for Kindle publication earlier this year.    David and I hereby give our permission for it to be made available for members to download from  the website."

    The pdf copy is now in  Our Library

    She gives a nice plug to the JRA on her website. Could anyone who runs a website do the same, please?)

    It's interesting to see that Tin Hau is up for sale.

    I've heard from Lynda Chidell that the book that she and David wrote, about their life aboard the junk Tin Hau, is now available in a Kindle edition. She also has a website where you can see photos that could not be included in the book.
