Still if it goes off as we expect it to there maybe a cash flow to the boat and as we all know that never goes astray.

But Gary you're in Oz are you not? Cultural not a word commonly associated with Oz! :-)

Like Annie says, are we invited :-)

    Yum, yum.  Are we invited?

Re the books.  Have had a look now.  Some good reads there: Captains Courageous,
Neil Munro's Para Handy books and Hilaire Belloc, for starters!  I have bookmarked the link for when I have an e-reader :-)

Whooooooo - off thread but very interesting.  (I hope.  Haven't looked at it yet :-}).  Should be added to useful links, I suggest?

Good to hear you are making progress Gary.  I was about to suggest drilling the hole oversize, but David beat me to it.  I always use that method, not in the least because it's the only way I could ever get anything to more-or-less line up, because both my hand to eye co-ordination and measuring abilities leave a lot to be desired.

What do you still have to do Jeff?

If anyone reads e-books here's a stack of free nautical e-books.

Well for the last 2 years at least I have been saying next year but I think this time it might be true. I am hoping for around the middle of next year.

What's the stern tube made from, Gary? It looks brown in the photos, as though it's copper.
