    Sir,

You have opened my eyes. I will now go back to the drawing board.

When I have finished I will post the result.

    Best and most grateful regards,

Q: When balancing a multi-masted junk rig effort with the hull form resistance do we approach this the same as with a bermuda multi-masted rig?

Any input or questions would probably help point me in the least worst direction.

The matter of balancing a JR with one or several sails is similar to balancing any rig. In some cases I move the CE a little bit aft of where the Bermuda rig's CE sit.
Maybe this write-up can be of some help.

I am drawing a design for a Junk rigged cruiser and have a question.

Q: When balancing a multi-masted junk rig effort with the hull form resistance do we approach this the same as with a bermuda multi-masted rig?
