    Certainly. New member Martin, who sailed with me aboard Weaverbird  on Saturday, remarked that the estuary is a great place for dinghy sailing. He's building a YM Senior, 16ft long and to be junk rigged, which will be trailed to wherever he feels like sailing. I make no doubt that it will turn up at Kippford next year. 

    Since it's not the easiest of places to get to in a cruising boat, let's see more members trailing small boats there.

    Many thanks to Robin for getting this going and all local organisers for a great weekend (as ever).

    Weaver Bird - David,  Badger - Gloria & Allan,  Malliemac - Peter awaited on the pontoon, only 5 crew, including 2 who arrived on Mallie, so reduced numbers, perhaps some put off by the weather forecast.  Saturday was in fact driech and breezy, though Sunday a lovely sunny day, a bit calm with an occasional light wind.

    I have posted a few photos in a new album in my profile. 

    A good night in the Pub and cream teas aboard Badger and Mallie.

    Looking forward to next year (though I am told after so many years I am only allowed back on my own boat - will a JR rubber dinghy do? !)
