    Hi Andy

    Yes, that site has been mentioned here once or twice.

    Don't know who's running it but it seems to be a collation of 'for sale' ads from other sites. It's hugely out of date - e.g. the Chidells' boat, Tin Hau, is still there even though it's been sold twice since that ad.

    Hello all,

    I've been very quiet here since starting a few months back. In all honesty I'm snowed under with work. If I was retired.....

    However 5 mins ever so often I'll check the web and I found this a while back;

    http://chinesejunkboats.tripod.com/

    I am guessing others have found this before, and my word there are some lovely looking pieces on here.

    Anyone know the history of this site, who owns or runs it etc? I love the idea of a hardwood traditional vessel, but have to be realistic that it may be considerable more work than owning a GRP alternative. I was told as much by a friend of mine who lived on one for a number of years, but then I can't comment as I have no experience personally.

    There are a couple of vessels that really are beauties in my price range, but that is only in in jpg form!
