    Aloha Rael,

I made similar measurements about Sardinia where I was born. According to my calculations she is the belly of the world. Anyway I am a big fan of Polynesian proas loaded with Balkan energy and surrounded by dolphins. I like to imagine you sailing like an arrow on the black see, in the middle of the planet.

    Keep junking, keep shunting….

    Totally Normal Jan.

Any line starting at the Black sea, is charged by default.

As the line begins it's journey, it happens that it could be over charged. Usually as result of a big Low in the area... The charge is too much for the line, so it gets driven faster and faster, by half way around the line is so hot, that it could disintegrate or even loose course and head out to space...

Its simple please use only plastic rulers, and start measuring 100 Miles to the east of the Black Sea, finish the line and add on 100.

    Good Luck Jan

"the Black Sea is exactly in the center of the world, If you measured from the east coat of the Black Sea around the world till you reached the west coast, you would find, that, it is placed very carefully, exactly in the middle!!! "

Being convinced that my patch of water is the centre of the universe I tried drawing a line (using the measure tool) on Google Earth Pro from one coast of the Black Sea around the world to the other coast. When the line gets to the opposite side of the planet strange things happen! The force is strong like a magnet.

Aloha from Black Sea Polynesia Mauro,

We stand proud as we read your opinion about Balkan Shipyards design.

Our dear friend, u must understand the Black Sea is exactly in the center of the world, If you measured from the east coat of the Black Sea around the world till you reached the west coast, you would find, that, it is placed very carefully, exactly in the middle!!!

This is a very powerful location! Here, in this exact center of our planet, the Force is very Strong! Half a life we spent looking for this powerful place, then after getting married to a Bulgarian Balkan woman, Balkan Shipyards was born.

The energies here, pushed us further and further into Proa design. Our third Proa, after endless failure with the previous 2, eventually got Junk rigged! Finally the code was cracked, and the first Balkan Proa was born.

13 Years, 4 Proas and 1 Rig. The Junk Rig, for there is no other...

    Keep Shunting my friend,

May the Force b with u.

A short vid that sums it all up. About 9% of camber, 18 square meters of Polytarp, and the simple Mike Mulcahy's Dart System.

Driving about 900 Kg's of an almost fully loaded Balkan Proa. We always do half wind speed, until I reef of course... We are faster than all the monos in the hood, cruising monos, average size, which are all much longer than us.

Junks drive boats, fast ones go fast, 60 degrees to the wind on both shunts, yet moving fast, 55 possible, but speed drops and that's not fun.

reefs in seconds, with only 2 parrels, yard and throat. I also have a luff parrel, but it's useless, next year I will not rig it.

    Keep Shunting guys
