    Hello everyone,

I thought you might be interested in this steel junk that's sitting in the same yard as my Gazelle in San Blas, Pacific Mexico (not to be confused with the islands of the same name in the Caribbean). The unusual "origami" building style is popular for amateur builders on the west coast of Canada, which is this boat's origin. Its designer is the (in)famous Brent Swain. Here's what he had to say about it:

"That's Jack Carson. He and Monica circumnavigated on one of my 36 footers. They sold that, bought another 36, at the bare hull stage ,cut it in half, pushed the bream out, and added 8 ft in the middle. They, after a few winters on the BC central coast, spent many winters in Mexico. I love my twin keels. Only 2 haul outs in 40 years, that, only because I was in Tonga, with a tiny tidal range, and a couple of 4,000 mile windward beats ahead of me ."

From the outside, she looks very salty and well set-up. The owner wasn't around, so I couldn't get more information.
