Thank you for the encouraging words.  I’ve just read J.R.A. magazine article on Blossom and I have to admit I couldn’t be happier (always been a fan of the Hill’s).

Welcome aboard, John. You've got yourself a fine ship there. Blossom's previous owner, Pete Hill, bought her in Florida and sailed her home. He lived aboard her while refitting his present boat, Kokachin, now cruising in Nova Scotia. I'm sure Pete will provide the information you want, although you'll probably need to be patient - he tends to prefer anchoring to putting into places with internet facilities.

Firstly thank you for letting me join your rank's.

I’m currently in the process of purchasing a Junk Rigged boat in the Plymouth area (UK) can anyone recommend a surveyor in this area.

The boat in question is a converted Pearson 36 named Blossom; I don’t suppose we have any members that know anything about her?

Hi and welcome.  I am sure members may want to reply to your query.  I don’t know the boat myself but there was an article about it in our magazine a few years ago .  Issue no 83, which you can find in the magazine index page.
