Thank you Jan. Well, it is November. I'm waiting for a less gusty and more friendly weekend at the moment.

It is the original sail plan David drew for "my" SibLing. I'm not that much into the theory of the Junk Rig. It's to some extent beyond my attention span what x% more balance or x° less yard angle will do, and to be honest, I was a bit sceptical at first because my eyes are used to the more common PJR derived sails. But while building the sail, reading the active threads here and generally looking at sails from a different point of view, I thought a lot about forces pulling there or masses pushing somewhere else and stuff like that :)
So I think I have an idea of David's intentions regarding the sail design and I have to say I really like it.

First impression of the finished sail. After work, there is less than an hour of daylight left to set up the sail. So it will take a few days. I will probably sail the boat this weekend :)

The sail isn't 100% finished yet, but I couldn't resist raising it for a preview.

I temporarily stepped the mast today, the icicle hitch works. I will do the remaining work in the water and don't intend to crane the boat out again (ever :).
