It seems that I never get right lengths for the sheetlets. One is too long. another is too short, and when I adjust accordingly, some other length-related problem appears.

Would you more experienced people please enlighten the rest of us: what is a good/the right way of adjusting sheetlet lengths? Is there a step-by-step method, a set of rules of thumb or something else?

When I was setting up the new sail on my junk rig yacht 'Footprints' I used the dimensions/ratios given in PJR. They were perfect and not needing any adjustment right from first installation.
