Good work.
If and hopefully when you do go bigger, I suspect the swinging mast will not be a viable option. I would (hopefully will) use a fixed mast and rudder boards as on Russ Browns proas. Ping Pong is also a good example of a junk rigged proa that seems to work very well, though not sure about his rudder foils.
Very big pacific proas had canting masts, I honestly feel that up to a 30 foot boat I could still handle such a rig manually. YES lifting rudders are the way to go on bigger boats, Correct. Ping Pong I don't like as it's CE is always way aft since the sail hangs off a fixed mast, Pacific Proas that fail to get the Ce way forward after shunting, just head up and get caught in irons. My previous proas had fixed masts it just doesn't work...
