Scantlings: hull: 9mm topsides and sloping panels, 2 x 9mm bottom. Stitch and tape assembly of CNC pre-cut and assembled panels. Deck: maybe ply/foam/ply sandwich, 6mm/20mm/6mm.

Ballast: 800kg, two layers of 50mm steel plate, the same method as Annie has used, or could be internal, with lead ingots set in resin and a sheet copper grounding plate on the bottom.

Headroom: 1.6m.

If you've gone to 7.8, it's only another 200 mm until you've reached the size of SibLim.  I am looking forward to someone building a SibLing. :-)

Ah, a SibLittle! Cute as.  Why the canted rudders, David?  Have you concluded that they won't add complexity?
