Mast for a Hurly 22

    Hi there. A few days ago I became proud owner of Hurleu 22. Now we are in Tor bay and when we back in Dublin probably I will start to make hollow duglas fir mast or mast from fibreglasI think and for aluminium tube, but dont know which will be better...as I will prepare the boat for longdistsnt cruising and libe on board I think for strongest material for mast, but to be lightet too. If enybod can give me advice for that.Wooden and fibreglas I'll make and will spend mony only for materials,but aluminium is lighter...no maintanamce ..
