    Martin,

On my last 2-3 sails I have made the batten pockets at the mast from thick PVC fabric. If your sail were mine, I would just stitch a new batten pocket of this material over the original on. Since these batten pockets sit fairly closely to the luff, it should be doable to sew them on with an ordinary sewing machine.

    Good luck!

Hi everyone, can anyone advise me what to use on my sail batton pockets that are wearing away where they rub against the mast.

Maybe some sort of fabric material or tape ?

    Many thanks Martin
