I mentioned sometime ago that I had come across a newly formed company in Izmir Turkey. They have made the carbon fibre tubes which I am planning to use as the battens in the wing sails on my new boat.

Hitherto they had been limited to lengths of 3 m but they have just advised me that they have now completed their new oven and winding equipment and can now make tubes up 6m and dia of 300 mm. Wall thickness depending upon strength required.

It would be possible to have masts up to 11m or more if you are happy with multiple joints. The quality of the work is very good and attention to detail impressive.
