Thanks everyone, I will take a look.
All the best.
I always used to buy my sailcloth from "English Seadog" on eBay UK. They have a variety of cloths, but for JR, I liked their soft canvasses. Best to call them to see what they have in stock, and ask for samples.
Hi Mark,
for Ilvy's 35 m2 sail I used Swela Outguard (190 g/m2), and we are more than happy with it!
I think it is distributed all over Europe. If I remember correctly, one of our finnish members also used it.
Cheers,
Paul
I used Weathermax 80 for Jasmine's 64.2m² sail and am very happy with it. For your smaller sail you might prefer the lighter Weathermax LT Weathermax Head Office is in the USA but they very well may have a local agent/distributor.
Hello, It's been a while since my last Jr conversion 'Bumblebee'. I have acquired an Elizabethan 23 and plan to resign her as junk yawl using Arnie's sail plan for the main sail and a simple furling main as the aft sail. Are most sails still made using Odyssey or has a better alternative been discovered?
All the best,
Mark
