Somehow I felt obliged to answer.

1 a good lightdriven hull.

2 spend money on a light and decent mast.

3 learn to sail.

4 find out whats the best junksail for racing.

I know something, but is way too old and poor to go to point 4. That is why I have stuck with the old sail from Edmond Dantes. Still being at point 3, having a lot of fun annoying fellow racers.
