Coramandel, Butterfly

Recently back from 10 days cruising the West Coast of Scotland. Although she is a lovely wee boat, and very capable, she does not fit my long term aims. Whilst I will continue to use her, if someone is interested please get in touch.

The sail not old, generally in good condition.

Engine is a Tohatsu 5hp, runs very well.

There is a solar panel and good sized battery, also charges from the motor.

Depth sounder works, with speed / log which does not, but may just be wiring.  Navigation lights.

    Origo alcohol stove.

Presently at Kinlochleven, about 10 miles from Fort William.  An good base for exploring the West Coast.

    Hi Mark,

I am, in principle, very interested in buying your Coromandel and would be most grateful if you could let me have a full inventory before deciding whether to make the 560 mile round trip car journey from Yorkshire to Kinlochleven to view your boat "in the flesh" as it were. I had 12 years good sailing with a junk rig Corribee but have been without a boat for the past 4 years as she was sold due to pressure of work. Thankfully, I'm now fully retired and wanting to get on the water again.

    Best regards,

I posted the add under the impression that junk rig boats can be difficult to sell, well it appears not so for a bargain priced Coromandel, you are the 4th inquiry.

When I sell depends somewhat on on other maters, at present I wish to keep her as a base until mid September, I am entered in a couple of hill running races, and Butterfly beats camping.

You are best to contact me directly. Click on my name to go to my contact details.  I will keep all posted if there are developments.

    Cheers Mark
