Tystie has been sold to (Flash) Gordon Gregg, Opua, NZ. I am not sure if Flash is a member of the JRA yet. Annie is sure to prevail upon him to do so if he is not.

Congratulations Martin, that was a quick sale when you consider how long a large number of yachts are on the market. The new owner of Tystie has scored a great cruising yacht.

What is the next yacht adventure for you, another junk rig yacht?

    Cheers, David

I think it goes to show that there's a steady market for good, medium sized, junk-rigged boats, offered at a sensible price.  Look at how many of our members have to convert and would really prefer not to.  There has been a lot of interest in Oryx, too.

The next adventure is a trip to Europe to attend the AGM and take a tour of France, Germany and Switzerland. I hope to find a suitable boat to sail back home along the Coconut Milk Run. I am working on my ‘bucket list’. Time and tide wait for no (wo)man.
