Well. guess what? I am KEEPING HER!! I thought I would try to pass her along quickly and cheaply …and luckily for me it wasn't in the cards. I have thought and thought hard on this. and decided that although the NA29 is not the swanky liveaboard that the C-Mist is ….. I would rather be out sailing and having fun …instead of toiling away building out the C-Mist.
Funny thing is: someone just called very interested in purchasing her ….AFTER I made the decision. I'm keeping her …and listing the larger boat.
One of the things that changed my mind was meeting George Revilla on Pake the other day. Pake is the first NA29 made ….. and is an absolute beauty .. inside and out. It would be hard to find a more suitable cruising vessel for a couple...minus a huge v-berth of course. I took a zillion photos for inspiration and planning of my new interior.
George also very graciously gave me the parts I need to fix my Volvo MD7A AND …. he had an envelope full of correspondence and photos …of MY NORTH ATLANTIC 29 being built! I would call that fate.
